Our mission is helping reunite children with their biological mothers and equipping these women to become the mothers God created them to be.
It’s a worthy purpose.
According to the most recent statistics, only 64 foster families currently are approved to care for 241 Blount County children who’ve been removed from their parents’ care. An additional 54 children now live in residential-care facilities.
ReUnite is addressing the problem. By helping mothers conquer addictions and end the cycles of dysfunction that resulted in their children’s removal. ReUnite is reclaiming families and alleviating an overwhelmed foster care system.
While we are committed to redeeming mothers, a sad reality remains. Our community has too few foster families. Is God calling you to help by becoming a foster parent?
If so, contact: Susan Spalding, Blount County Foster Parent Association, 865-407-7190 or fosterfamiliesofBC@hotmail.com.
